AIM Venue Rated 5 Stars
AIM's kitchen and dining facilities recently received a 5 Star rating from Eat Safe Brisbane, a food safety rating scheme for licensed food businesses conducted by Brisbane City Council.
Eat Safe Brisbane assesses food safety and hygiene standards of every licensed food business in Brisbane including restaurants, cafes and food outlets, and issues a star rating in accordance with a Food Safety Rating Guide. A 5 Star rating indicates compliance with the Food Act 2006 and the existence of excellent safety management practices.
AIM CFO Faisal Mukhtar AFAIM said the rating reflects the hard work of AIM staff, led by in house Executive Chef, Daniel Jackson.
"The kitchen and venue teams at AIM do an amazing job of preparing morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for training delegates daily, catering for all AIM internal and external functions and keeping the venue safe, hygienic, friendly and presentable," he said.
"The quality of catering forms an important part of the feedback we seek in hosting training and events, and it is consistently scored at a high standard. It's very satisfying to know that our services meet these high standards of accreditation," Mr Mukhtar said.
The audit covered the quality of food, kitchen hygiene, food handling and safety procedures. The award is current for a period of three years.
