AIM Supports 'Young Gun' Businesswoman
The Australian Institute of Management proudly sponsored the Babes in Business 2011 'Young Gun of the Year' Award, presented at the annual Babes in Business Lunch late last year.
The Award acknowledges a young 'babe' who has had a running start to her career; someone who is educated, talented, focused, driven and passionate about her industry.
The 2011 'Young Gun of the Year' Award recipient was Dominique Lamb, a solicitor at McKays Solicitors. She was recognised for showing flair in her chosen field, having exceptional time management skills and earning the respect of her peers, clients and management.
With a strong sense of justice and a passion for what's right, Dominique has her sights set on greatness. Moving quickly through the ranks, Dominique uses her networks and her nous to deliver outstanding results for her clients.
Having a strong background in industrial relations and employment law issues, Dominique helps clients avoid unfair dismissal, unlawful dismissal and discrimination claims.
AIM Brand Manager Sarah Dreaver AFAIM was on hand to at the luncheon to congratulate Dominique. She said that Dominique is an impressive young professional with a bright future.
"AIM chose to support this award because it aligns with the Institute's values in supporting the growth and development of professional women," Ms Dreaver said.
Babes in Business facilitates opportunities for women to connect with other women, grow professionally, learn and enjoy their passions through signature events, mentoring programs, debates and learning.
