Direct paths to success
THE Australian Institute of Management - Qld & NT will this month unveil its most valuable piece of collateral when it launches the 2013 Course Directory.
Inspirational educator Carol Skyring will officially launch the AIM Course Directory at Management House on Friday 19 October.
The layout of this year's Directory has been revolutionised and will feature compelling colour images and testimonials from Members, including coffee king Phillip Di Bella.
AIM Chief Executive Officer Vivienne Anthon FAIM said she was thrilled at the content of the Directory which features 120 courses and 31 qualifications.
"Every year we introduce a raft of new courses based on feedback from Members, clients and industry. This ensures our new course offerings are relevant and meaningful to managers," Ms Anthon said.
"This year, we are excited to launch a brand new look and feel for the Directory. All of the images in the publication are of current Members who have studied with AIM. Their enthusiasm was outstanding.
"Every year, we ask a specialist to launch the Directory and update us on emerging management development trends and this year we are thrilled to have a presentation from leading adult educator Carol Skyring," Ms Anthon said.
New courses in the 2013 Directory include Communicate With Tact and Impact, which teaches a skill-set to communicate more effectively with senior management.
Telephone Call Techniques is a new course which is structured for receptionists, PAs, call centre operators and telemarketers.
The Art of Number Crunching Essential Business Maths is another addition designed for new managers who require an understanding of business mathematics.
