2013 International Women's Day Debate
It's the burning issue pertinent to women across Australia and also the topic up for debate at Brisbane's biggest annual lunch.
The Australian Institute of Management - Qld & NT has announced the topic for the upcoming annual International Women's Day Debate - That Corporate Women Need To Mind The Gap.
The 2013 event will again be held at the Brisbane Convention Centre on March 7 and, as always, the identity of the six debaters remains a mystery until they are introduced on stage.
Sponsored by The Courier Mail, the lunch is perennially regarded as one of the must-do events on the social calendar and is attended by Queensland's most successful business and sporting women.
AIM Chief Executive Officer Vivienne Anthon FAIM said 2013 would be bigger and better than ever.
"We are passionate about women in management and the debate lunch has long been one of the biggest events we host at the Institute," Ms Anthon said.
"We are expecting more than 1500 guests and I am certain the debaters we have for this year will be make the event a truly great day."
Monies raised are donated to the debaters' chosen charities and there is live entertainment and great prizes to be won.
